Every Alavida agent reaches its customer's systems through our platform, which decides what each agent may do there and records every tool call. You would build and run it with Alex Girardet, who built it, and you could become our CTO as the company grows.

What you'd do
Extend the gateway that agents' tool calls pass through. There is one per customer, built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Run the identity and credential systems behind it (WorkOS and AgentCore's token vault), so an agent can use a customer's accounts without holding their passwords or keys.
Keep our agents running on Northflank, along with the workflows that create, update and retire them (Inngest).
Lead our security and compliance work, starting with SOC 2 and the security reviews our customers run on us.
Build the monitoring and release checks the platform needs next, and help move gateways into customers' own AWS accounts.
What we look for
You are a senior backend engineer who has run distributed systems in production.
You have built or run authentication, identity or credential systems, and you know how they fail.
You have more security and compliance experience than we do, for example from taking a company through SOC 2.
You write strong TypeScript. Data engineering experience helps, because much of the work is getting the right information to an agent at the right time.
You use AI coding tools such as Claude Code every day.
What we put behind you.
No limit on model spend
We pay for your AI model usage with no monthly limit.
Share options
Early hires get share options in the company.
Work with the founders
You work directly with both founders. There is no product manager, and you decide much of your own work.
London and on site
We are based in London, and we work at customers’ offices when the work needs it.
